Eco Hiking Tour

Join Edge of the Woods Outfitters for an easy hike on the famous Appalachian Trail in Delaware Water Gap. Their friendly guides explore the ecology and history of the area while guests have the opportunity to enjoy great views and photo opportunities. The cost is $20 per person and includes transportation, bottled water and a light snack. Great for kids and adults. Guests meet at Kid Central at 9:15 am for the start of their tours which operate on Thursdays and Sundays from spring through early fall.

Biking Tour

Edge of the Woods Outfitters offers daily, self-guided bike tours for all ability levels of Fernwood guests. The bike trail is an easy outdoor adventure in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area that follows along the Delaware River and offers outstanding panoramic views of the scenic Pocono Mountains. Bike and helmet rental, bottled water and transportation to and from the trail are included in this tour. The cost is $25 per person. The tour is open to guests ages 1 and up and is operated on Fridays at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm from spring through early fall. Guests meet at Fernwood's Kid Central fifteen minutes before the start of the tour.
